Lab Technician (Leather Industry)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lab Technician specifically for Leather industry to handle all laboratory operations in our leather manufacturing facility. This position is designed for fresh diploma holders in Leather Technology who can independently manage comprehensive lab testing procedures and chemical analysis work.

Key Responsibilities:

Chemical Laboratory Work

• Prepare all required chemical solutions and reagents for daily testing procedures
• Conduct titration procedures for various chemical determinations
• Perform extraction procedures for fat and oil content determination
• Handle acid-base titrations for pH and buffering capacity measurements

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain detailed test logs with all numerical results and observations
• Record daily testing schedules and sample tracking information
• Document equipment calibration records and maintenance schedules
• Prepare technical test reports with graphical data representation
• Maintain chemical inventory records and consumption tracking
• Create batch-wise testing summaries and trend analysis reports

Required Qualifications:

Educational Requirements

• Mandatory: 12th Standard completion + 3-year Diploma in Leather Technology
• Strong foundation in leather chemistry, testing procedures, and quality control methods
• Understanding of leather manufacturing processes and chemical applications

Technical Skills Required

• Freshers are welcomed
• Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory procedures
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for chemical concentrations and test results
• Understanding of defects and quality assessment criteria

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,331.68 - ₹25,000.00 per month
