Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of our quality control and research labs in a manufacturing setting. The Lab Assistant will be responsible for preparing samples, conducting routine tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, label, and test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Assist with chemical, physical, or mechanical testing based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in root cause analysis and product quality investigations.
• Ensure the lab remains clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Support R&D or production teams with product development or scale-up testing.
• Manage lab inventory, including chemicals, tools, and disposables.
• Adhere to ISO, GMP, or other applicable standards depending on the industry.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, B.Sc, Microbiology, or a related science.
• 1–2 years of experience in a lab environment (internships or co-op experience acceptable).
• Familiarity with lab instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, viscometers, etc.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality control principles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic lab software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (pharma, plastics, chemicals, etc.)
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
