KYC Operations Lead Analyst - VP

Role Overview: You are the KYC Operations Lead Analyst at Citi, a senior-level position where you will be responsible for leading Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities. Your primary objective is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of the Global Scorecard (GSC) control framework, conducting rigorous control reviews to ensure alignment with Global AML KYC Policy and internal standards. - Lead critical GSC projects, drive organizational change, and enhance efficiency by realigning non-KYC processes within the broader operations organization. - Design and implement performance scorecards to track team KPIs, prepare comprehensive reports for senior management forums, and lead the KYC Closure and Restriction process. - Provide oversight for governance initiatives, standardize closure and restriction execution, and support the KYC Modernization initiative. - Liaise with key stakeholders to facilitate coordination for closure and restriction processes, act as the primary point of contact for bankers in completing documentation related to KYC, and assist in assessing documentation requirements for client legal entities. - Review recent news related to clients, interact with bankers and product sales on AML-related risk issues, coordinate with account operations, and prepare client-specific KYC-related analyses. - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercise independence of judgment and autonomy, act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders, and appropriately assess risks in business decisions. Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in KYC operations. - In-depth knowledge and experience in risk and control. - Expertise in dealing with senior management.
