Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor Location: AIIMS, Gorakhpur Shift Timing: Rotational Shift Employer: Green Foods Firm Department: Food & Nutrition Services Job Overview: AIIMS Gorakhpur is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Food Safety Supervisor to oversee food safety and hygiene in the AIIMS Kitchen. The candidate will ensure all meals meet the safety and quality standards and help maintain a clean and safe environment for food preparation. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure proper handling, storage, and serving of food, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Lead and coordinate kitchen staff across two shifts (morning/evening), assigning tasks and ensuring timely service delivery. Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, FSSAI, etc.) and hospital protocols. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste. Conduct regular quality checks on food production and maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Oversee the preparation of meals according to hospital dietary requirements, ensuring nutritious and safe food options. Handle any complaints or issues related to food service and resolve them promptly. Assist in training and developing new kitchen staff as required. Qualifications & Skills: Freshers with a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Catering, Food Production, or Nutrition are encouraged to apply. Experience in food service operations, institutional catering, or related fields will be an advantage. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Basic knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality and safety standards. Freshers with internships or part-time experience in kitchen operations or food service roles will be considered. Prior experience in institutional kitchens, hospital kitchens, or catering is an advantage but not mandatory. Other Information: Work Hours: The role will require flexibility to work in two shifts, ensuring kitchen operations are covered throughout the day. Training Provided: Full training in kitchen management, food safety regulations, and hospital-specific requirements will be provided.
