Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives, and aligning them with our Chemistry solutions.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and profitability from key accounts while meeting clients evolving needs.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, delivering innovative solutions that provide added value and contribute to the company's sales targets.
  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring client feedback is heard and acted upon to continuously enhance service delivery.
  • Address any concerns or conflicts raised by key clients promptly and professionally, striving to reach win-win resolutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics, providing clients with valuable insights and positioning them for success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to deliver seamless service and solutions to key accounts.
  • Manage sales growth in line with company objectives
  • Manage the finance related processes, documentation & payment terms with the customers of assigned categories.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customers issues/queries to ensure high customer satisfaction.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Postgraduate with an MBA, Chemistry Background (preferable)
  • 15+ years of Sales & Marketing experience
  • Proven experience in B2B as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the Chemical industry
  • Exposure to International Sales
  • Experience of working with teams in a fast paced, high-growth focused, dynamic and a hands-on work environment.
  • Have a strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Team player with an energetic, can-do personality, capable of building strong internal and intercompany relationships is crucial
  • High comfort level working with senior Indian and International executives.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market trends and industry developments.

    Success in this role will require partnership & collaboration through influence with clients and internal stakeholders to execute the Sales priorities.

    - Plan and schedule work according to changing priorities; designs and maintains effective systems and processes for managing work. Ability to multi-task and project manage in a global matrixed environment.
