Key Account Manager - Modern Trade

Requirement: Willingness to travel for store visits and account meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Account Management:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with key modern trade partners such as Big Bazaar, Reliance Retail, DMart, and others.
• Negotiate terms of trade, annual contracts, and joint business plans with accounts.
• Ensure timely execution of trade agreements and compliance with agreed terms.

2.Sales Performance:

• Drive sales growth across Daburs product portfolio by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor SKU-wise performance to ensure balanced growth across categories like personal care, healthcare, and food.
• Work towards improving category share and ensuring better shelf positioning for Dabur products.

3.Promotional Campaigns:

• Plan and execute account-specific promotions and campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
• Track the effectiveness of promotions and suggest improvements to enhance ROI.
• Ensure in-store visibility and placement through planogram adherence.

4.Supply Chain and Inventory Management:

• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure stock availability and prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Monitor inventory levels at account warehouses and stores to maintain optimal stock levels.

5.Market Insights and Analytics:

• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to provide actionable insights.
• Prepare periodic reports on account performance, including sales, revenue, and market share.

6.Operational Excellence:

• Conduct store visits to monitor the execution of agreed plans, including merchandising and promotions.
• Ensure timely collections, account reconciliations, and resolution of disputes.

7.Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and category managers to ensure seamless execution.
• Support field sales teams and merchandisers with guidance and training to optimize store-level execution.
