Junior Visual Designer

As a web designer (UI-first) at SimplePlan, you will be joining our award-winning design studio to help brands big and small enhance their online presence through design, strategy, and branding. Your role will involve utilizing your 0.5-1 years of experience in digital design, with a focus on website and web-app design. You should have a medium-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Photoshop & Illustrator, and a solid understanding of how UI combines front-end tools. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of typography, color, and Gestalt principles, along with a good grasp of identity design, grid systems, communication design, editorial layouts, among other elements. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating Stylescapes / Moodboards - Developing UI Design Mockups - Building Design Systems - Crafting Brandscapes You will collaborate closely with fellow web designers, front-end developers, creative leads, and account executives in our intentionally flat setup. Your day-to-day interactions will involve working on multiple projects in different phases, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration.
