Location: Mumbai / Bengaluru As a UX/UI Designer at Fractal, your role is crucial in creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enable data analysts and scientists to navigate complex datasets effortlessly. You will play a key part in balancing functionality and aesthetics to ensure users have a seamless experience while deriving valuable insights. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with various teams to develop user-centric, pixel-perfect interfaces. - Engage in primary and secondary research, including user interviews, ethnographic studies, and field research. - Translate research findings into actionable insights, frameworks, and opportunities. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys based on research insights to deliver seamless user experiences. - Design and iterate through various fidelity levels, including sketches, wireframes, information architecture, and high-fidelity mockups. - Effectively communicate design solutions to clients and stakeholders through clear presentations and artifacts. - Develop solutions that integrate AI, Engineering, and Design while maintaining a user-centered approach. - Optimize designs for different devices and interfaces, incorporating rapid iteration based on feedback. Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in data visualization or design systems. Skills: - Proficiency in visual communication and tools like Figma. - Expertise in Gestalt principles, typography, composition, and color theory. - Ability to simplify complex data and abstract ideas into visually engaging designs. - Practical knowledge of human-centered design (HCD) and accessibility. - Skill in creating prototypes, conducting user research, and presenting design solutions.
