We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 1 year of hands-on experience in manual testing and automation testing using Selenium. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test cases.
• Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing.
• Prepare test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the QA process and automation framework.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python preferred).
• Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG / JUnit.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing is a plus.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to API testing (Postman/Rest Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
