Junior Test Engineer

As a Junior Test Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the testing and validation of two-wheeler electric vehicles (2W EVs). This role is perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about learning and gaining hands-on experience in EV battery systems, motor testing, and software validation. - Assist in Component Testing: - Support senior engineers in conducting performance, durability, and safety tests for EV components such as battery, motor, BMS, and charger. - Learn to operate various test equipment including cyclers, thermal chambers, and dynamometers. - Data Collection & Analysis: - Help in logging test data and preparing basic reports using tools like Excel, Python, or MATLAB. - Assist in troubleshooting failures with proper guidance. - Software & Diagnostics Support: - Gain exposure to CAN bus tools like CANalyzer and CANoe for vehicle communication testing. - Participate in BMS firmware validation under supervision. - Compliance & Safety Checks: - Learn about EV safety standards such as AIS-038 and ISO 26262, and assist in compliance testing. - Perform basic environmental tests including vibration and waterproofing. - Field Testing Support: - Participate in real-world ride tests to validate range, performance, and reliability of 2W EVs. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. - Internship/project experience in EV/battery testing is considered a plus. Technical Skills (Basic Exposure Preferred): - Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, or data loggers. - Basic understanding of lithium-ion batteries or electric motors. - Interest in programming/scripting languages like Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW. Soft Skills: - Curiosity and eagerness to learn. - Attention to detail in documentation. - Team player with good communication skills.
