As a Junior Test Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the testing and validation of two-wheeler electric vehicles (2W EVs). This role is suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience in EV battery systems, motor testing, and software validation. Your responsibilities will include assisting senior engineers in performance, durability, and safety tests for EV components such as batteries, motors, BMS, and chargers. You will also learn to operate various test equipment including cyclers, thermal chambers, and dynamometers. In addition, you will be involved in data collection and analysis tasks where you will help log test data, generate basic reports using tools like Excel, Python, or MATLAB, and troubleshoot failures under guidance. You will also gain exposure to CAN bus tools for vehicle communication testing and participate in BMS firmware validation activities. Furthermore, you will learn about EV safety standards and compliance testing while assisting in performing basic environmental tests such as vibration and waterproofing. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to join real-world ride tests to validate range, performance, and reliability of the vehicles. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Any internship or project experience in EV or battery testing will be considered a plus. Basic exposure to technical skills such as familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, or data loggers, understanding of lithium-ion batteries or electric motors, and interest in programming or scripting languages like Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW will be beneficial.
