Junior Software Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and software testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships, academic projects, or freelance work count)
• Solid programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with software development tools and workflows (e.g., Git, CI/CD, IDEs)
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with front-end or back-end frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Django, Spring Boot)
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with REST APIs and/or microservices
