Junior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on project requirements.
• Convert HTML designs into fully functional WordPress themes.
• Integrate WooCommerce and third-party APIs as required.
• Perform website performance optimization, security enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design discussions, and technical planning with internal teams.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and monitoring of client websites and servers.
• Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, account managers, and development teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain WordPress coding standards and ensure cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility.
• Explore and recommend new technologies, plugins, and development practices to improve workflow and capability.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of

  PHP, MySQL

  , and basic server-side concepts.
• Hands-on experience in

  custom WordPress theme and plugin development

• Proficient understanding of

  HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (intermediate level)

  .
• Experience with

  WooCommerce

  setup and customisation.
• Knowledge of

  DNS, Linux server environments

  , hosting configurations, and domain management.
• Familiarity with

  WordPress hooks, filters, actions, and core functions

• Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to convert client requirements into technical solutions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
