Muffin Media is a hybrid growth agency that helps brands and creators scale with smart social media strategy and content. We sit at the intersection of creative and performance, using data, storytelling, and platform expertise to grow audiences and revenue across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.

About the Role

This is a junior role for someone who wants to deeply understand the nuances of social media strategy inside an agency environment. You will own channel workflows across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn for multiple brands and support senior strategists in turning insights into hooks, briefs, and measurable results.

You’ll work closely with editors, designers, and clients to convert ideas into content calendars, experiments, and performance reports.

What You’ll Do
  • Build monthly content strategies and weekly calendars (pillars, hooks, CTAs).
  • Turn insights into clear briefs for creators and designers.
  • QC outputs for brand voice, platform best practices, and consistency.
  • Write high-performing copy: titles, captions, thumbnail text, and simple creative briefs.
  • Plan and test growth loops (format, posting time, hashtags, collabs, UGC).
  • Track KPIs and publish concise weekly reports with “keep / kill / iterate” actions.
  • Coordinate approvals, assets, and timelines with clients and internal teams.
Must-Haves
  • Strong grasp of short-form hooks, thumbnails, and retention basics.
  • Clear, concise writing; highly organized and reliable with deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Canva or basic Adobe tools
  • Google Sheets
  • Notion / Google Drive
  • Meta Business Suite and YouTube Studio
  • Analytical mindset: can read basic metrics and propose next steps.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing and social listening tools.
  • Prior work in an agency or client-facing environment.
KPIs
  • Consistent on-time delivery of calendars, copy, and reports.
  • Week-over-week improvement in:
  • Reach
  • Saves
  • Watch Time / Retention
  • CTR
  • Profile Visits
  • Clear weekly reporting and iterations based on data.
Work Hours
  • Core working hours aligned to IST.
  • Occasional overlap for campaigns and client calls.
  • Overall schedule is flexible within those constraints.
