Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce development, with specific expertise in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify-based stores. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to build functional and visually appealing online stores that drive sales and user engagement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize Shopify themes , apps, and templates. Implement and manage third-party integrations and APIs. Optimize stores for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness . Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into clean, maintainable code. Configure payment gateways, shipping methods, and checkout processes. Create and manage Shopify Plus features (if applicable). Troubleshoot issues and implement bug fixes in a timely manner. Stay current with Shopify updates , best practices, and emerging technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (Portfolio or links to live projects required). Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify's templating language) . Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party services. Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms , payment gateways, and best practices. Experience with version control (e.g., Git ). Basic knowledge of SEO and web performance optimization. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Shopify Plus , headless CMS, or JAMstack. Familiarity with React, Vue, or other JS frameworks . Knowledge of Shopify App development . Experience with tools like Figma, Adobe XD , or Sketch for design handoffs.
