Junior Shopify Developer

You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Create and maintain engaging, user-friendly Shopify stores to increase revenue and sales - Develop custom themes, modify templates, and ensure compliance with company guidelines - Collaborate with UI/UX design teams to deliver innovative and unique user experiences - Integrate seamlessly with Shopify apps, marketing tools, and platform APIs - Regularly debug and test websites for improved performance and user experience - Provide ongoing technical support and coordinate with internal teams to prevent disruptions - Optimize websites to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates - Test and customize 3rd-party Shopify apps and accounts as required The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Strong experience in Shopify development, including maintenance, launch, and construction of stores - Proficiency in JavaScript, DOM, CSS3, and HTML5 - Solid understanding and experience with Shopify's Storefront API and custom themes - Expertise in Liquid templating language and Shopify theming system - Prior experience debugging or implementing 3rd-party Shopify applications and providing custom solutions - Expertise in JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, ES6/ES2015, Vanilla JS) - Strong working knowledge of Shopify properties, Meta fields, and AJAX API - Experience in debugging and testing using browser consoles and other tools - Ability to provide proactive feedback and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Experience working with 3rd-party APIs, services, and Shopify plugins - Knowledge of creating responsive and mobile-friendly layouts for various devices Desired Skills: - Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for design and user experience - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams Please note that there will be a service agreement of 18 to 24 months (depending on the organization) that you will need to sign.
