Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Research Fellow, IIT Kanpur, Kanpur Nagar. The Junior Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting research under the guidance of senior researchers, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and research papers, and participating in scientific meetings. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth progress of the research projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in data collection, data analysis, and research methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
• BE/B.Tech. (Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Material science and Engineering) with GATE score, Msc (chemistry / soil science), or M. Tech. in Civil / Chemical Engineering / Electrical Engineering/ Material science and Engineering) with GATE/NETLS. Candidate with background in Geotechnical Engineering will be preferred
• Must have a GATE/NET score
• Previous research experience is an advantage
