Junior MERN Stack Developer(Maintenance & Support)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a MERN Stack Developer, located in Ahmedabad. The MERN Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting and debugging applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize the existing live project to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements across the frontend and backend.
• Work with React.js (with Redux & Redux-Saga) for frontend state management and UI updates.
• Manage and optimize Node.js backend services and ensure API reliability.
• Handle MySQL database (RDS on AWS) – writing queries, optimizing performance, and managing schema changes.
• Manage AWS services, including RDS (MySQL), S3 (storage), and related services to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other developers for smooth release cycles.
• Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability in the existing project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 

  MERN Stack Developer

   (React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MySQL/MongoDB).
• Strong expertise in 

  React.js with Redux and Redux-Saga

   for state management.
• Hands-on experience with 

  Node.js backend

   and REST API development.
• Good knowledge of 

  MySQL database management

  , performance tuning, and queries.
• Practical experience with 

  AWS services (RDS, S3)

   and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control practices.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently on production support and maintenance.

Good to Have

• Experience with 

  TypeScript

  .
• Knowledge of additional AWS services (CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, etc.)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
