Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:

Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (0–2 years experience)

Responsibilities:

• Create CAD models, part & assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support the full product lifecycle: design → prototype → test → manufacture → implement.
• Conduct reverse engineering and develop concept designs of machines and systems.
• Perform on-site trials and product testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Research market and user needs to improve product designs.
• Develop and test prototypes using CAD, 3D printing, and other methods.
• Collaborate with vendors and supervise manufacturing processes.
• Prepare project budgets, timelines, and track milestones.
• Work closely with Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers across teams.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in product design, R&D, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in

  SolidWorks

  (3D modeling, rendering, drafting).
• Exposure to manufacturing processes (turning, milling, welding, fabrication).
• Ability to create sketches to communicate design intent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership mindset with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
