Junior Legal Associate

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Associate to join our in-house legal team. This role involves providing legal support across a wide range of matters including corporate governance, contract management, compliance, regulatory filings, and internal legal advisory. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Indian corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks applicable to private limited companies. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and assist in negotiation of commercial contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and internal policies. Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Support in legal due diligence, board meeting documentation, and corporate secretarial work (in coordination with the Company Secretary team, if applicable). Conduct legal research and prepare internal notes on regulatory and legal developments. Maintain legal records, contracts database, and compliance tracker. Liaise with external counsels, consultants, and government/regulatory authorities as required. Assist in handling legal notices, litigation tracking, and dispute resolution support. Stay updated on changes in company law, labour laws, data protection, and other applicable regulations. Qualifications & Skills: LL.B. degree from a recognized university (LL.M. is a plus). 0–2 years of legal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm. Knowledge of the Companies Act, Contract Act, labour laws, and relevant corporate regulations. Good understanding of compliance requirements for a Private Limited Company. Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, legal databases, and document management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
