Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Junior IT Executive to support daily IT operations and ensure smooth functioning of the organization’s technology infrastructure. The role involves maintaining hardware, software, network systems, security tools, and assisting users with technical issues. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, efficient, and capable of troubleshooting independently.

Key Responsibilities:

System & Hardware Management

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Perform system formatting, component upgrades, and hardware-level troubleshooting.
• Manage OS installation and configuration (Windows 10 / 11).

Software & Application Support

• Install and troubleshoot MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Configure and manage email accounts on Google Workspace / G-Suite.
• Provide user support for routine software and application issues.

Network & Connectivity

• Perform LAN cabling, crimping, and basic network setup.
• Troubleshoot network issues including connectivity, IP allocation, and device configuration.
• Basic working knowledge of firewalls (Preferred: GajShield, Sophos, Fortinet).

Security & Data Protection

• Install and manage antivirus/endpoint protection tools (e.g., Seqrite Endpoint Security).
• Ensure timely updates, threat monitoring, and system security compliance.
• Support backup and data recovery procedures.

Inventory & IT Administration

• Maintain IT asset records (hardware, software & licenses).
• Document configurations, issue logs, and resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and procurement when needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma / Graduate in IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 – 2 years in IT Support / Technical Support.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LAN networking and basic network protocols.
• Familiarity with firewall and endpoint protection tools.
• Good communication and user-support skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
