Job Title: Junior Financial Modeling Analyst

Contract Duration: 4 Months

Working time: 3.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate finance environment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills, hands-on experience developing budget/forecasting models for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, and a foundational understanding of accounting principles to support our budgeting and planning initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the FP&A team in developing and maintaining financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Update and refine existing Excel-based financial templates to improve efficiency and accuracy, particularly in data capture and consolidation
• Support data collection and analysis for various financial reports
• Help prepare variance analyses and provide insights into financial performance
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, data validation; basic macros is a plus)
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles (e.g., financial statements, debits/credits)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
