Job Description (Junior Estimator)

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Estimator who can prepare accurate material legends for ceiling and flooring take-offs for our US based projects. The ideal person will have proven experience of strong understanding of Acoustical Panel Ceilings (ACT), Flooring and related accessories. Able to read and interpret Architectural and Structural plans, sections, and elevations to ensure complete and accurate estimations.

Also will be a proactive member of our operation team to identifying growth opportunities for clients before a need or gap has been stated. This level of foresight and meticulous analysis is what will take our company confidently into the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare accurate material legends.
• Develop and maintain material schedules and specifications for use in design documentation.
• Translate conceptual plans and sketches into detailed technical information.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to align drawing sets.
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to support bid processes.
• Ensure all documentation meets client requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain estimation records and update historical cost databases.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in ceiling and flooring estimations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of commercial ceiling systems and flooring materials.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with interior fit-out or general contracting firms is an advantage.
