Junior Estimator

Job Purpose:

The Junior Estimator will support the Estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves assisting in quantity take-offs, analyzing drawings, gathering cost data, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely submission of bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for civil and RCC works.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Collect and analyze rate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support in preparing detailed cost breakdowns and comparative statements.
• Maintain updated databases of material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Coordinate with site engineers for project inputs and clarifications.
• Track market rates, industry trends, and competitor pricing.
• Ensure timely submission of estimates, reports, and documentation.
• Provide administrative and technical support to the Senior Estimator.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6 months – 2 years of experience in estimation, preferably in RCC/civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
