Please Apply If You Have
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Environmental/Architectural, Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural/Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- An understanding of the fundamental physics of fluid flow and knowledge of wind engineering with an enthusiastic interest in aspects of building design related to microclimate issues and building science.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing detailed technical reports.
- Working understanding of architectural, structural and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple tasks and projects, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities, exceptional coordination and consultation skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:
- Wind tunnel testing/CFD experience.
- Familiarity with urban or atmospheric aerodynamics through industry or coursework.
- Up to 2yrs experience in a fast-paced environmental consultancy or related field.
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Programming/scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, C#, VBA, C++).
- Experience using CAD software packages.
- Previous internship, industrial placement or other professional work experience.
