Junior Engineer

A Quality Engineer in an SS roll manufacturing company ensures the quality of stainless-steel rolls throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished products. This includes developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections and tests, analyzing data, and collaborating with various teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Developing and implementing quality control systems: This involves creating standards, procedures, and documentation for all stages of production.  Inspecting and testing: Regularly checking raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.  Analyzing data: Investigating defects, identifying root causes, and developing corrective actions.  Collaborating with other teams: Working with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and implement improvements.  Ensuring compliance: Making sure products meet relevant quality standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.  Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities and results.  Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality.  Specific tasks might include: Raw material inspection: Verifying that incoming materials meet specifications and are suitable for production.  In-process quality control: Monitoring production processes and components at various stages to identify and address issues early on.  Final product inspection: Ensuring finished SS rolls meet dimensional, surface finish, and other quality requirements.  Supplier quality management: Working with suppliers to ensure their materials and processes meet the company's quality standards.  Non-conformance management: Handling and resolving any products or processes that do not meet quality standards.  Data analysis and reporting: Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, track performance, and generate reports.  Auditing: Conducting regular audits of processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards.  Training: Providing training to other employees on quality control procedures and standards.
