Junior Electrical Engineer (Farm Operations)

Experience Range: 3 to 5 years

Role Overview

Assist in managing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical infrastructure supporting farm operations, including power systems, automated machinery, and potentially renewable energy installations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and prompt troubleshooting of electrical panels, motors, pumps, lighting, and control systems.
• Installation Support: Assist senior engineers with the installation, commissioning and upgrading of new electrical equipment and systems (e.g., solar arrays, automated feeding/irrigation/). Experience in Construction activities.
• System Optimization: Identify issues and propose improvements to enhance energy efficiency and operational reliability of electrical systems.
• Technical Support: Provide on-site technical guidance and training to farm technicians and operators.
• Documentation: Prepare maintenance reports, update equipment records, and assist with parts ordering.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to farm safety protocols, electrical codes, and relevant industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong foundation in electrical principles, power systems, and control circuits.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment, diagnostic tools, and CAD software.
• Hands-on experience with PLC/automation systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor/farm settings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
