Position: Junior Designer – Product & Furniture Design Experience: 0–2 Years Location: Gurgaon Type: Full-time Reporting to: Senior Designer / Design Head About Us We are a design-build studio dedicated to crafting bespoke furniture and immersive spatial experiences. Our work is grounded in a hands-on, detail-oriented approach driven by strong design thinking and seamless execution. As we grow, we're seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Designer to join our multidisciplinary team. Role Overview As a Junior Designer, you will support the end-to-end development of furniture and product concepts—from initial ideation through to final execution. You will work closely with senior designers and fabricators in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to learn, experiment, and grow within the design industry. Key Responsibilities Assisting in conceptualizing and developing original furniture and product designs. Creating mood boards, concept sketches, and presentation visuals. Drafting accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp. Supporting 3D modelling and Photoshop-based visualizations. Contributing to material research, prototyping, and mock-up development. Coordinating with production and workshop teams to ensure design integrity. Participating in client meetings and on-site visits as needed. Contributing to internal R&D, documentation, and process enhancement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Product/Furniture Design, or a related field 0–2 years of professional experience in a design-related role Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop Strong sketching, ideation, and visualization abilities Foundational understanding of materials, joinery, and furniture construction Willingness to work hands-on in workshop and on-site environments Proactive, collaborative, and deeply passionate about design and craftsmanship Good to Have Familiarity with Rhino or other 3D modelling software Experience with model-making or physical prototyping Exposure to CNC machining, laser cutting, or digital fabrication tools What We Offer A collaborative, creative, and learning-focused studio environment Opportunities to work on high-end, custom design-build projects Exposure to the complete design and fabrication process Mentorship and professional development within a multidisciplinary team.
