Junior Civil Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

Role Summary
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for execution and monitoring of construction projects in real estate and infrastructure, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The role requires strong technical knowledge, compliance with local building codes/TNRERA, and effective coordination with stakeholders.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Oversee site execution, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare BOQs, project schedules, and cost estimations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with TNRERA guidelines, local building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
• Implement quality control, safety standards, and sustainable construction practices.

KPI: Performance Metrics

• % adherence to project timelines vs. schedule.
• Budget compliance and cost variance.
• Quality audit scores and safety compliance.
• Timely submission of reports and documentation.
• Stakeholder satisfaction (internal & external).

Skills & Attitude

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, or equivalent design tools.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, construction materials, and site execution.
• Ability to manage BOQs, project schedules, and cost estimation.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sustainable building practices.
• Exposure to modern project management tools/software.

Experience & Eligibility

Experience Range: 3–7 years in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
