As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Lab Chemist to join our team at our solvent plant located in Burdwan, Nabagram, West Bengal.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Lab Chemist to join our team. The Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses, maintaining quality control standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using analytical instruments and techniques.

2. Conduct quality control tests to ensure products meet specifications and standards.

3. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

4. Document and interpret test results accurately, maintaining comprehensive records and reports.

5. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and improve product quality.

6. Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods.

7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory environment.

8. Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to the role.

9. Participate in internal and external audits, as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in the feed industry.

3. Should know the following tests- oil % from the seed, FFA, S/S, fibre, protein, aflatoxin and bleachability.

4. Experience operating and maintaining analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers.

5. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using software applications such as Excel.

8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

9. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements applicable to chemical laboratories.

Additional Information:

- This is a full-time position based at our solvent plant in Burdwan, Memari, West Bengal.

- The Lab Chemist will report to the Laboratory Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
