Junior Business Analyst

As a Junior Business Analyst at Globelance, you will play a crucial role in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis of existing systems. Your responsibilities will include creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and wireframes to guide development and QA teams. Additionally, you will maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum teams using Agile practices. Coordination with developers, QA, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate features, and support sprint ceremonies will also be a part of your role. You will perform basic data analysis and SQL queries to validate reports, identify data issues, and support decision-making. Providing concise status updates, requirements artefacts, and handovers for deployment and support teams will be essential. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. - Experience working in an IT services or software development environment (on-site delivery). - Hands-on experience with JIRA for backlog management and Confluence for documentation. - Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria; experience with process mapping. - Basic SQL skills for data validation and ad-hoc reporting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and stakeholder communication.
