Junior Application Support Analyst

Junior Application Support Analyst is an entry-level IT role responsible for troubleshooting software issues, helping users, and maintaining application functionality. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, often combined with a degree and some technical knowledge of application stacks, databases, and operating systems. Key duties include resolving help desk tickets, documenting solutions, and ensuring a positive user experience. Key responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Respond to user-submitted tickets and technical problems, diagnose the root cause, and provide timely solutions. Provide user support: Guide users through problems with patience and clear communication, ensuring a positive customer experience. Document and escalate: Record troubleshooting steps in a knowledge base, escalate recurring or complex issues to higher-level analysts, and update documentation. Monitor and report: Analyze application performance trends, report potential risks to management, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate: Work with other IT teams, such as developers or system administrators, to address issues and improve application stability.
