Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing purchase order entries, tracking payments, and assisting in day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate should be organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter purchase orders accurately into the accounting/ERP system.
• Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely processing.
• Follow up on pending payments with clients and vendors.
• Assist in preparing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for approval and payment processing.
• Assist senior accountants in audits and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• 1 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP/Accounting software is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

• Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
