Job Description

We are hiring for Junior Accountant profile for our Company based @ Nikol, Ahmedabad

Candidate must have min 2+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting

Must have good communication skills

Senior experience person more preferrable

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately posting journal entries, documenting financial transactions, and updating financial records.
Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Processing invoices, issuing payments, managing client invoices, and resolving discrepancies.
Bank & Account Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger and balancing financial records monthly/quarterly.
Financial Reporting Assistance: Helping prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
Month-End/Year-End Close: Supporting closing procedures for the financial period.
Payroll Support: Processing payroll, calculating taxes, and checking timesheets.
Compliance & Audits: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (like GAAP) and assisting auditors with necessary documentation.
Budgeting Support: Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring expenses.

Essential Skills & Focus:

Attention to Detail: Critical for accurate data entry and reconciliation.
Accounting Software: Proficiency in tools like QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP.
Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
Supervision: Works under senior accountants, learning and executing tasks

Should have good knowledge of GST & TDS Return
