Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in our manufacturing unit. The candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, handling billing, compliance, and supporting audits while ensuring adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Record and verify purchase, sales, and expense invoices
• Handle GST entries, reconciliation, and assist in GST return filing
• Assist in TDS entries and compliance as applicable
• Maintain inventory accounting and coordinate with stores/production team
• Bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and cash/bank book maintenance
• Support payroll processing and expense reimbursements
• Assist during internal and statutory audits
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for accounts-related matters

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing industry
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP software and MS Excel
• Understanding of inventory accounting and cost basics is an advantage
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
