Job Description

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Department: Finance / Accounts
Reports to: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
Location: Eluru
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and maintain reports related to expenses, invoices, and payments.
Assist in processing payroll and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, GST).
Handle petty cash transactions and maintain records.
Coordinate with vendors and clients for payments and invoicing.
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
Familiarity with ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
