Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at our retail & B2B office, you'll assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts, working under the supervision of founders and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process and record financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and update financial statements and reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Reconciliations:

• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records.

Data Entry and Management:

• Enter and manage financial data in accounting software and databases.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Assistance with Audits:

• Assist with preparing financial records and documentation for audits.
• Support auditors during the audit process.

Other Tasks:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare invoices and process payments.
• Support other accounting tasks as needed.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Skills:

• Locals preffered with languard proficiency in Hindi/Marathi.
• Proficiency in accounting software and databases.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per year
