Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Daily Accounting Entries: Record purchase, sales, and expense transactions in accounting software. Assist with bank reconciliations. Invoice & Billing Support: Generate customer invoices. Check vendor bills and prepare payment sheets. Payment Follow-ups: Follow up with customers for pending payments. Coordinate with vendors regarding dues. GST & TDS Compliance (Basic): Support in preparing data for GST returns. Maintain records of TDS deducted and challans. Petty Cash Handling: Record and reconcile daily cash expenses. Maintain petty cash register and receipts. Inventory & Stock Entry (Basic): Record fabric and raw material inward/outward entries. Coordinate with store team for physical stock checks. Documentation & Filing: Maintain files for invoices, receipts, bank statements. Assist in audit preparation and documentation. Other Support Activities: Assist senior accountants with month-end closing tasks. Prepare basic reports (sales summary, expense summary, etc.). Qualifications: B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance. 0–2 years of accounting experience (internship/factory experience is a plus). Basic knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, etc.). Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookup, data entry, basic formulas). Skills Required: Accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication and coordination. Ability to handle confidential data. Willingness to learn and adapt.
