Jr. Engineer-Utility Equipment and Piping Engineering

Role Overview: - Assist in preparing the utility consumption chart. - Assist in preparing capacity and cycle time analysis of various utilities. - Calculate utility consumption for pharmaceutical facilities. - Design utility pipe sizing, pump sizing, and equipment sizing. - Prepare layout including user point location and pipe routing. - Prepare bill of quantity calculations. - Assist in preparing general utility electrical load. - Send inquiries and obtain offers for utility components. - Prepare budgetary costing. - Prepare technical specifications of utility & process equipment. - Verify Bill of Quantity (BOQ) from clients and create query list. - Discuss with vendors for technical details and offers. Qualifications Required: - Working knowledge of AutoCAD with the ability to work independently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and equivalent software. - Awareness of utility equipment types, specifications, and selection criteria. - Knowledge of major utility and process equipment, including components, vendors, and manufacturers. - Familiarity with piping, fittings, valves, instrumentation, and relevant codes and standards.
