Job Title: Workshop Manager – Two-Wheeler Service Department: Service Location: Unnao, Uttar Pradesh Reporting To: General Manager Job Summary: The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing daily operations of the two-wheeler service workshop. This includes overseeing service processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing technicians, improving service quality and productivity, and meeting revenue and profitability targets. Key Responsibilities: Workshop Operations: Oversee daily operations of the two-wheeler service workshop. Ensure efficient job allocation and workflow among service advisors and technicians. Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles. Customer Handling: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining service quality and responsiveness. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively and promptly. Promote upselling of service packages, AMC, and accessories. Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety standards. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for service jobs. Conduct periodic audits and inspections to ensure work quality and compliance. Inventory & Tools Management: Coordinate with the spares department for parts availability. Monitor tool usage and maintenance of workshop equipment. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on service performance. Track workshop revenue, productivity, and job card status. Report warranty claims and ensure correct documentation. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of two-wheelers. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management System) and CRM software. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Qualifications: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in two-wheeler workshop operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Working Conditions: Location: On-site workshop. Timings: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. May require occasional travel for training or dealer meetings.
