You will be joining the dynamic team at Chandigarh University as a talented Video Editor & Graphic Designer. Your primary responsibility will be producing high-quality video content for various university platforms, such as social media, website, marketing campaigns, and internal projects. It is essential to have proficiency in video editing software, attention to detail, and the ability to transform creative ideas into visually compelling content. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Video Editing:** Edit and assemble recorded footage into engaging and informative videos that align with the university's branding. - **Content Creation:** Collaborate with the content creation team to produce videos for university events, promotional campaigns, interviews, and campus activities. - **Storytelling:** Utilize storytelling techniques to craft impactful videos that resonate with target audiences. - **Post-Production:** Handle color correction, sound mixing, and visual effects to enhance video quality and meet project specifications. - **Collaboration:** Coordinate with various teams to ensure project visions are captured in the final product. - **Animation & Motion Graphics:** Create visual effects when necessary to enhance content. - **Video Optimization:** Edit videos for different platforms, ensuring they are optimized for each platform's specifications. - **Archiving:** Organize video assets and project files efficiently for easy access. - **Stay Current with Trends:** Keep updated with the latest trends in video editing and digital marketing to ensure content relevance. **Requirements:** - Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably in academic or corporate settings. - Strong proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. - Experience with motion graphics tools such as After Effects. - Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects. - Familiarity with various video formats and platform specifications. - Creative skills with a keen eye for detail, design, and composition. - Minimum 5 years of experience in editing short videos. - Ability to meet daily editing targets and stay updated with social media video trends. - Proficiency in creating stylized text in After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Photoshop. - Strong visualization skills and sense of aesthetics in shot and stock selection. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, or related fields. - Knowledge of photography and sound editing. - Previous experience in a university or educational institution setting is advantageous.
