Keep test specifications and test methods up to date, develop new specifications and methods as required. Aim to minimize the amount of testing needed to meet our customers requirements. Analyze and document results, prepare technical reports, examinations, and summaries Ensure all project documentation is completed properly and in full and available for any internal or external quality audits. Attend line trials of new product launches at customer sites. Lead or take active role in problem solving of customer issues using appropriate methodology, e.g. 8D. Understand the process overview. Understand specific hazards on safety, health, environment related to the process. Understand the operation procedure. Safety practices related to work tasks. Key Job Requirements: Doctor degree or above from top universities, major in Polymer Materials and Engineering, Material Science or other Chemistry related major. Reviews RFQ packages and spreadsheet analysis to make recommendations for improvement. Manages supplier relationships. Identifies potential suppliers and makes recommendations on supplier selection and quality compliance. Performs supplier negotiations and determines most competitive total cost solutions using creativity and latitude. Executes plans to meet customer commitment to deliver 100% quality parts, on time, with continuous emphasis on cost containment. Accuracy of the suppliers quotes to be reviewed and confirmed. Any inconsistent costs to be clarified with supplier before reporting out. Knowledge / Skills Qualifications & Experience: B. E, B. Tech Mechanical Engineering. 8 to 14 years in Manufacturing Industry based Sourcing experience Supply chain and product development knowledge in Ferrous Forgings/Castings/Machined Components, various surface coating processes etc. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge on Quality systems, PPAP, APQP would be preferable. Must possess Total Cost Ownership. Active, Self-motivated and curious to know the business requirements and should co-ordinates with multiple departments. Must have Track record of Strategic Sourcing castings and Forgings, Vendor Development, Best Purchasing ethics and Code of Conduct.

Role & responsibilities Operate CMM machines (manual and/or CNC) for part inspection and measurement. Perform layout inspections and testing of components as per drawings and specifications. Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) from engineering drawings. Conduct MSA studies including Gage R&R and correlation studies. Utilize quality instruments such as vernier callipers, micrometre, height gauges, and surface testers. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment. Document inspection results and report any non-conformances. Support quality audits and corrective/preventive action activities. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Preferred candidate profile ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience in a quality inspection role. Hands-on experience with CMM operations (Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Hexagon, etc.). Strong understanding of GD&T, MSA, and quality control processes. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.) is a plus. Good communication and problem-solving skills
