Job Description

Job Title:

Dy Manager | Engineer: Project, Design & Regulatory Affairs

Location:

Vadodara, India

Permanent position (Third Party Payroll)

Reporting To:

Director - Operations

Educational Qualifications:

  • Must Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.

  • Preferred:

    • BE Mechanical from a reputed university.

Industry Preference:

  • Oil & Gas (Pumps / Compressors / Meters & Valves)

Experience Required:

  • 310 years

Technical Expertise:

  • CAD Software: Inventor, SolidWorks, ProE (or equivalent)
  • GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
  • CAD model development & engineering drawings
  • Engineering analysis (Stress, Fluid Mechanics, FBD)
  • DFMEA & DVP&R execution
  • BOM creation (JDE preferred)
  • Knowledge of ASME / API codes
  • Precision machining, welding, forging, heat treatment, and QC
  • Regulatory affairs (custody transfer & flameproof equipment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle engineering activities for existing product lines (Energy AFS)
  • Product optimization, cost reduction, and support new development
  • Coordination with quality, sourcing, and operations teams
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Set up machining/manufacturing processes (in-house or with suppliers)
  • Technical support for VAVE, product development, and testing
  • Prepare & control GADs, BOMs, ECNs, and technical specifications
  • Effective written & verbal communication

Work Environment:

  • Middle Management level
  • Must be able to work in shop floor conditions
