It is a sister concern of Pradhan Industries, owned by Mr. Sibananda Pradhan, one of the key Partners of the Pradhan Group. This site is currently in its initial phase of development. There is no existing infrastructure, and the work includes setting up approach roads, boundary fencing, water and electricity arrangements, and future plant construction. The project offers a unique opportunity to work from ground level on a strategically important graphite mine. Position: Site Supervisor We are hiring a Site Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising ground-level development activities, coordinating local manpower, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the site. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all on-site workers, including laborers, helpers, drivers, and support staff. Coordinate daily earthwork, bush clearing, fencing, drainage, road cutting, and basic civil activities. Maintain daily attendance, stock register, fuel tracking logbook, and work progress reports. Help manage local logistics, including safe loading/unloading of construction materials and movement of hired vehicles. Ensure discipline, punctuality, and basic safety practices among all workers. Share regular photo updates, videos, and written field reports with the Rayagada Head Office or Site Incharge. Support basic procurement by coordinating with local hardware shops, sand suppliers, and transporters. Assist Site Incharge in resolving small issues related to labor delays, rainwater blockage, or sudden material shortages. Ensure proper usage and minimal wastage of diesel, water, and materials. Arrange safe storage of tools, equipment, and incoming items at the site. Maintain proper communication with electricians, welders, borewell operators, and other visiting contractors. Help in setting up temporary shelters, rest sheds, water tanks, and toilets for workers. Keep a checklist of pending tasks and follow up regularly to ensure site development moves as per plan. Stay present throughout the day and keep patrolling the site to avoid idle time and ensure productivity. Build rapport with nearby villagers for smooth site access and coordinate for small help like hiring labor or arranging water/sand. Immediately report any unsafe act, local resistance, or machinery breakdown to seniors. Maintain a friendly and cooperative environment on-site and act as a bridge between villagers, field staff, and management. Candidate Requirements: Education: Minimum 10th pass; preference for +2, ITI, or Diploma holders. Experience: Minimum 2 years in construction, mining, or industrial project sites. Must be comfortable working in remote areas with tough terrain with very limited facilities. Local candidates from nearby districts such as Rayagada, Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Gajapati will be given preference.. Should be fluent in Odia.
