We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive HSE Engineer with hands-on experience in operational safety within the metal refining (iron, steel, copper, zinc) or chemical industry . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety compliance, risk management, and operational health across the facility. Key Responsibilities: Ensure implementation and adherence to HSE policies , statutory regulations, and best industry practices. Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications , and safety audits for ongoing operations. Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures and emergency response plans . Deliver toolbox talks, safety training , and awareness programs for operational teams. Conduct incident investigations and develop root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions . Maintain documentation for safety audits, permits, PPE usage , and accident records. Ensure compliance with national safety standards and environmental laws. Coordinate with other departments to promote a culture of safety-first .
