Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, PowerShell). Experience in creating SOP documents and project-related PowerPoint presentations. Basic knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP and switching (L2/L3). Good understanding of operating systems, specifically Windows, Linux, and VMware. Ability to resolve priority-level issues. Ability to resolve P2/P3 issues and coordinate with vendors until resolution. Knowledge of SAN integration with virtualized hosts (such as VMware and Hyper-V). Skills in performance tuning and optimization. Experience with disaster recovery solutions and strategies. Good knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and Ubuntu. Familiarity with backup technologies using software such as Veeam or Commvault. Knowledge of cloud storage solutions. Must Have: Candidate must have any deployment & Administrator Level Certification in any one or two storage product Pure Storage/NetApp/Hitachi Key Skills: NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, SAN, NAS, Cisco MDS, Brocade SAN Switch, replication, DC/DR. 3. Storage Engineer (L2) Location: Nagpur Job Description: Must be capable of handling critical issues, ensuring uptime, and performing preventive maintenance. Ability to resolve P1/P2 issues and coordinate with vendors until resolution. Vendor coordination experience is required. Must be able to serve as the on-site liaison for vendor support personnel. Deliver expert support on storage virtualization, deduplication, remote copy, and both synchronous and asynchronous data center fiber connections. Configure and manage enterprise-class disk arrays. Advanced working knowledge of FC SANs and associated components, including FC networks and switches, with proficiency in FC switch configuration and upgrades. Perform zoning and masking at both storage and fiber switch levels and configure hosts with redundant paths. Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks and make performance-related recommendations (hardware, software, configuration). Monitor daily backup activity and provide reports to proactively avoid issues, troubleshooting missed and failed backup jobs. Manage business continuity in relation to disaster recovery. Provide assistance with SOP documentation at all levels of projects, changes, and support Must Have: Advanced-level certification from storage OEMs is preferred, along with the following experience : The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge (L3 preferred) of storage and backup infrastructure and experience in architecting storage and backup solutions. Hands-on experience with SANs, SAN boxes/external storage, and NAS-based storage. Exposure to various vendor systems, including Hitachi, NetApp, and Pure Storage. Extensive knowledge of storage solutions, including RAID concepts, storage performance, storage management systems, tape storage and backup, and replication for disaster recovery (DR).
