You should have knowledge of utilities such as Generators, Chillers, Cooling Towers, AHU, UPS, PAC, Electrical sub-distribution systems, Power Panels, Fire alarm & Suppression systems, etc. Hands-on experience with DDC Controllers & BMS graphics and logic is essential, along with knowledge of Open Protocols such as Modbus 485, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet-MSTP, BACnet IP, HART, SNMP, etc. You will need to identify energy-saving opportunities and have experience in building management systems and integrations with other ELV systems. Other requirements include basic knowledge of IP Networks, Windows Operating System, and Web Services, as well as the ability to diagnose and rectify faults in BMS equipment. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams are also important.
