Java Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer with a minimum of 10 years of software development experience to join our dynamic team focused on creating innovative cybersecurity software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in the specified technologies and demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills. This role will involve leading a team of 3 to 5 developers while collaborating closely with the product owner and lead software architect based in France. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment Design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity software using Java 17 or above, Spring Boot 3, PostgreSQL, and Angular 8 or above Collaborate with the product owner to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time Oversee the Agile development process using JIRA, ensuring task estimation and accurate follow-up Manage version control and CI/CD processes using GitLab and GitLab CI Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing updates and reports on project progress Support team members in problem-solving and troubleshooting issues autonomously Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and software development lifecycle Requirements: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar or equivalent experience Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, with a focus on cybersecurity solutions --> Proficiency in the following technologies: Java 17 or above PostgreSQL Spring Boot 3 Angular 8 or above GitLab / GitLab CI Docker Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with international teams, Croatian native Proven experience in Agile methodologies, specifically using JIRA for project management -->Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Familiarity with Oracle DB. -->Soft Skills: Strong task estimation and accurate follow-up abilities Excellent communication and reporting skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Autonomous problem management and conflict resolution skills Benefits: Competitive and market aligned compensations and benefits Additional and complementary health insurance Christmas bonus and gift for children Vacation allowance Transportation allowance Accolade bonus Referral bonus Jubilee award Flexible working hours at Atos or home office Multisport card Free parking on site Unlimited SIM card and business phone Days of annual leave above the legal minimum More favorable loans in some banks Professional and personal development through continuous education and certification Wellbeing days & After work gatherings Important: For this position we are not able to offer any VISA sponsorship.
