Job Description

Support production activities and major events throughout the quarters by providing production validation/ tokens and other necessary data. Service related issue are addressed by checking Splunk logs , DT Alerts, query database, use putty to access Unix based logs and other Mainframe related logs to provide possible solution. weekly support as per the schedule releases and team requirements . Participate in weekly release meetings with Technology stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the releases. Application monitoring using elastic search, Kibana, Splunk and Grafana for logging and monitoring. Responsible for the development and maintenance of processes and associated scripts/tools for automated build, testing and deployment of the products to various developments. Handling Sev 1/Sev 2 tickets and provide solutions for minimal user Impact Use internally built dashboards to monitor application health at regular intervals . Resolving event delay issue by the Kafka consumer and reprocess them once the consumer is online. Working closely with AD teams to understand / mitigate any issues related to application services. Address failed jobs quickly and coordinate with Upstreams and Downstream teams to resolve the issue. Adhoc request to access prod DB for validation/ ADFS token and as part of unplanned change requests. Weekend support to be provided depending on the event size and our role in the releases. Build, Deploy, Production Support of Java/J2EE applications in private cloud and public cloud environments Monitored and maintaining Splunk infrastructure in a production environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability deployment of applications in WebLogic, WebSphere and Apache Tomcat Server. maintaining SLA (Service Level Agreement) & Incident Management (Remedy) with increased productivity, scalability & performance of application Working closely with AD teams to understand / mitigate any issues related to application services.
