Java Backend Developer

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Backend Java Developer to join our technology team at Synergy Software Ltd. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to develop robust solutions for our Stock Market and Fintech applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
• Implement business logic, data persistence layers, and integration with third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Ensure proper security and data protection measures are implemented.
• Work in an Agile development environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Stay up to date with Java ecosystem trends and propose improvements where applicable.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer using Java (Java 8+).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Understanding of multi-threading, caching, and application performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of security best practices in backend development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in Stock Market/Fintech applications will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹245,730.33 - ₹600,000.00 per year
